I hope you had a great weekend 🙂 My weekend was pretty exciting because it was my first time working at a press event. I have been to these kinds of events before, but always as a guest and never as someone running it.

A little back story: over the summer I am working at a celebrity and event PR firm in Beverly Hills. On Thursday, I got to take some of our clients down the red carpet at an event in support of breast cancer called “Babes for Boobs.” It was hosted by two of the stars of the reality show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ and Sharon Osbourne presented her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, with an award.

The event auctioned off bachelors for a dinner date. During the runway show, I noticed that two of the presenters were from the “The Bachelorette.” It was Josh Murray, winner of Andi’s season, and Chase McNary, top four of Jojo’s season.

Then, on Saturday, I attended “The Care Concert,” which is an event my PR firm organized to raise money for the homeless in LA. I got to see Kelly Osbourne again because she was the host!

I’ve really been enjoying my internship and I’m so happy to love what I do. I can’t wait to start up my career in PR after college and have my own clients!
