3 Tips for Visiting the Antelope Valley Poppy Fields

Just 1.5 hours outside of Los Angeles sits the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserves – fields full of beautiful, vibrant poppy’s as far as you can see!

Driving to Antelope Valley is a beautiful sight in itself. I felt like we were in wine country! Once we got closer to the fields, I was surprised to see just how many people were there to take pictures and soak in the views. So please, wear your masks! Quarantine definitely put this spot on the map.

2020 Goals

Hi all and Happy New Year!

It has literally been a year since I last made a blog post, and a lot has changed since then! I’ve graduated, I’m working in the “real world,” and my boyfriend lives on the other side of the country *sad face.* I’ve gone through a big life transition and it hasn’t been easy, but there is a lot left to look forward to in this new chapter.

I thought I would start off 2020 with a blog post on my New Years resolutions, so that I have them down in writing and I can hold myself accountable. Let’s start with number one, shall we?

A Day on Melrose

If I were asked where to take someone on their first trip to Los Angeles, I would take them to Melrose Avenue. It is just so LA… From the coffee shops to the shopping and wall art, there is just so much to do and see along this strip. Continue reading “A Day on Melrose”

My Senior Year College Bedroom!

Today I am FINALLY doing a bedroom blog post! I’ve been getting a lot of DMs about my bedding and wall art so here we are. The lighting was right, my room was clean, the camera was charged… no better time to make this post. I hope that this post can provide some inspiration for designing your own bedroom! Continue reading “My Senior Year College Bedroom!”

After alternating between three outfits every day at my past internships, I’ve realized I need to up my office wardrobe… Continue reading “Casual Work Attire Ideas”

Spring Break in Mammoth

Instead of heading to a tropical destination for spring break, I headed to the cold. Living in LA, Mammoth honestly felt like vacation and a change of pace. When I lived in Chicago, we would only go on vacation somewhere warm. Now, I want to go to cold places! I never thought this day would come. Continue reading “Spring Break in Mammoth”

6 Movies to Watch Over Your Spring Break Staycation

Spring break is upon us folks, and you’ll find me in my bed watching movies during my staycation. That’s right, no senior year trip to Mexico for me. Nevertheless, I’m excited to relax and do some fun touristy things in LA. If you’re staying home for spring break this year, these movies will make you feel like you’re truly on vacation! Roo Coffee + Trois Familia, Silverlake

This week I ventured off from the West Side to explore Silverlake, a neighborhood I don’t go to very often. Driving there is a painnnnn in the booty. That’s the annoying part about living in LA. It’s hard to get off the couch and meet up with friends when they live in what seems like the other side of the world. Or at least the other side of LA.
