If you follow me on Instagram (@courtneyyquinn), you may have noticed that I have been posting at the restaurant 26 Beach lately. It is a restaurant in Venice that I am obsessed with. My first time going there was only about a month ago, but I’ve been there so many times since!
I heard about this place through friends at school. Everyone loves it and always talks about it! Although I’ve been to Sunny Spot for Sunday brunch across the street (highly recommend), I just never made my way over to 26 Beach.
Over the weekend I went again with my two roommates. Their menu offers up to TWENTY different kinds of french toast! How awesome is that! I ordered the S’mores, while my two friends got the Lemon Curd and the Very Berry.
With french toast choices ranging from the “Tiramisu” to “Caramel Macchiato,” this place is an amazing spot for brunch. Oh, did I mention how cute it is inside too? Everything is pink and fashion themed!
If you have any other Brunch recommendations in the Los Angeles area, comment below! I’m always looking to discover new places ❤
It’s the weekend! And what better way to spend your Sunday morning then at a nice brunch? That’s right! THE FARMERS MARKET!
Calabasas has the best Farmer’s Market. I love going and picking out some fruit and veggies for the week, as well as some coconut water cold brew. It’s so good. Oh, and my boyfriend was the cutest and bought me flowers for our year and a half anniversary.
Today I wore a Brandy Melville shirt with a skirt from LF and paired the it with shoes by Steve Madden. I love the brown skirt because it’s so FALL! And Fall fashion is my favorite. It may not be the typical ripped jeans and fuzzy sweater Autumn look, but I live in Southern California and it’s still reaching the 80s here…
OH! Before I forget, I mentioned that my skirt is from LF, and now they have an online store and their own LF brand! I’m super psyched about it, so make sure to check them out at https://lfstores.com/collections/all.
What’s your favorite thing to do on Sundays?
Tonight I’m having a chill night going to the movies to see Kingsman two.
Every time I go to the movies I dress warm because I always get so chilly in the theater! So I put together this outfit that is both comfy AND cute! You get the best of both worlds.
As usual, the sweatshirt is from Brandy Melville. I love how it’s cropped and says “Uh-huh honey” in the corner. I usually don’t like to buy clothes with words on them because I get tired of wearing the same phrase, but this is a simple detail that hasn’t gotten old!
The sweatpants are Under Armour and they synch at the bottom, which is a necessity for me when it comes to wearing sweats out. They’re white which is pretty different for sweatpants in my opinion. I thought the black and white would match my Nike New Balance tennis shoes. However, I’m totally in need of a new pair. Right now I really want Nike’s Air Force Ones.
What’s on the agenda for your Friday night?
So I wasn’t planning on making a post about this, but with news of Tom Petty passing away, I thought I would make an appreciation post.
Last week I attended a Tom Petty concert at the Hollywood Bowl. He told the audience that it was his last show of a long tour, and there was no better place to end it than in beautiful Los Angeles. Continue reading “Attending Tom Petty’s Last Concert… EVER?!”
Guys. This weekend something amazing happened. Something that hasn’t happened since I left Chicago… Continue reading “Where I Found a Piece of Chicago in LA”
So it looks like LA is finally over that heat wave — thank GOODNESS! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m so ready for some chilly weather. My absolute favorite temperature is when it’s in the 60s. Continue reading “Outfit of the Day: Cool in Corduroy”
Back to school means getting back on that homework grind. I can never just sit in the library at school because when I look out the window over the bluff, all I want to do is go explore LA! So, I compromise by finding cute and trendy coffee shops around the city to get that sh*t done. And thankfully, one just opened up down the street from my campus! It’s called Blue Bottle — it’s one of my favorite coffee shops on Abbot Kinney and now it’s even closer! Continue reading “On the Hunt for Coffee”
