Hello humans!

Even though it’s summer break for us college kids, I have been suuuperrr busy between my job and internship. Three days a week I go to my internship in Beverly Hills, which is an hour and a half drive from my house during rush hour. I know. It’s brutal. However, the rest of the week I spend working at one of my FAV clothing stores, Brandy Melville!

As school was ending, I applied online and was contacted by the hiring manager! I stopped by the store to give my availability and started working there shortly after. I always find it hard to leave the store without buying something. What can I say, the clothes are cute and I’m a shopaholic.

SOOO now that I’m working at my favorite store and have a discount, you can say I went a little crazy. But that just means I get to share with you guys what I’ve bought! Hooray!

I’m obsessed with this dress. I wore it to the Beverly Hills hotel for my 20th birthday brunch and have worn it practically every day since. Haha I’m only kidding (but not). It is so cute and perfect for summer!

What else did I get you may ask? Well, I also bought this pink corduroy skirt. I’ve had my eye on it for a while — since winter! When I saw we only had three left in stock, I snagged one for myself. I love the color and fabric; it’s so different from your typical skirt! They’re not selling the pink online anymore, but they’re still selling it in black and maroon. Hurry before it’s too late!

Another item I have had my eye on for a while is this black, sheer glitter top. I think it’s a great top for going out, but make it casual by pairing it with some jean shorts and you’re ready for the day. Brandy carries this kind of top in several colors, both short sleeved and long sleeved.

I don’t have many summer bottoms, so I bought a pair of jean shorts. I was a little unsure of buying shorts from Brandy, considering they would only be one size. The shorts ended up being just a tiny bit loose on me so I bought a belt to go with it. Belts are definitely in style right now! The one I got is a black leathery material with a silver buckle that has some simple detailing.

Brandy is selling a LOT of trouser striped pants right now. Some even come with a matching top, which is super cute. I bought the black and gray striped pants that everyone has. I was hesitant of buying these too, because they are so popular and I didn’t want to look like everyone else. However, I had my eye on them for a while and they are so damn comfortable!

I love wearing blue, so I got my hands on this tube top. The tube tops have been extremelyyy popular with customers. People are always asking me where they are in the store and what colors we have. Unfortunately, we sold out of the red, but still had pink, blue, white and black remaining…. I went for the blue. I always tend to go for blue because it brings out my eyes (shhh it’s our little secret).
