Just 1.5 hours outside of Los Angeles sits the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserves – fields full of beautiful, vibrant poppy’s as far as you can see!
Driving to Antelope Valley is a beautiful sight in itself. I felt like we were in wine country! Once we got closer to the fields, I was surprised to see just how many people were there to take pictures and soak in the views. So please, wear your masks! Quarantine definitely put this spot on the map.

It has been THREE months since my last blog post. But now that we are in quarantine, I have no excuse… this is the perfect opportunity to start blogging again. Although we may not be able to leave home right now, I wanted to share some of my favorite happy hour places in Los Angeles, because that is the first thing I am doing when this is all over!

If I were asked where to take someone on their first trip to Los Angeles, I would take them to Melrose Avenue. It is just so LA… From the coffee shops to the shopping and wall art, there is just so much to do and see along this strip. Continue reading “A Day on Melrose”
This week I ventured off from the West Side to explore Silverlake, a neighborhood I don’t go to very often. Driving there is a painnnnn in the booty. That’s the annoying part about living in LA. It’s hard to get off the couch and meet up with friends when they live in what seems like the other side of the world. Or at least the other side of LA. Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I’ve thought of the perfect gift: A basket of goodies from your local food market. And let me tell you, this place is aesthetic AF. Continue reading “Joan’s on Third + OOTD”
Although falling asleep on the beach has its consequences, such as turning into a human tomato, nothing beats the feeling of the sun on your skin or the sounds of waves crashing onto the shore a few feet in front of you.

Good morning all!
A little over a week ago I turned 21! FINALLY. Let me tell you, it feels like a whole new world. I had a rosé themed birthday party, where everything was rose gold for my golden birthday. I thought this was such a cute, girly theme for a 21st birthday party and am hoping it can serve as inspiration for someone who is thinking of throwing a party for their 21st! Check out my photos below 🙂 Continue reading “My 21st Rosé Birthday”
