If I were asked where to take someone on their first trip to Los Angeles, I would take them to Melrose Avenue. It is just so LA… From the coffee shops to the shopping and wall art, there is just so much to do and see along this strip. Continue reading “A Day on Melrose”
This week I ventured off from the West Side to explore Silverlake, a neighborhood I don’t go to very often. Driving there is a painnnnn in the booty. That’s the annoying part about living in LA. It’s hard to get off the couch and meet up with friends when they live in what seems like the other side of the world. Or at least the other side of LA. Continue reading “Roo Coffee + Trois Familia, Silverlake”
Downtown LA. It’s a place I never really go to, and to be honest, I did’t know it had an Arts District until a couple of months ago. But now here I am, writing about how this area is worth a visit. Continue reading “Guide to the Arts District, Downtown LA”
Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I’ve thought of the perfect gift: A basket of goodies from your local food market. I could spend hours just looking at all the gourmet cheeses and wines and spices! I have a few favorite LA marketplace cafes, including Joan’s on Third. And let me tell you, this place is aesthetic AF. Continue reading “Joan’s on Third + OOTD”
Hey blogger buddies!
Wow it’s been so long since the last time I posted but I can’t wait to share with you some new outfits and places I’ve been to. I’ll start off writing about this new cafe I discovered. Continue reading “The Butcher, the Baker, the Cappuccino Maker”
Happy Sunday blogger babes!
If you’re in the area and wondering where you should brunch today, I got you covered. Check out the Great White in Venice! Continue reading “Great White, Venice”
Today I went to a cute coffee shop that is super close by to my school. I always drive by it but haven’t checked it out until now! It’s called Flowerboy Project and it’s in Venice. They sell flowers, snacks and coffee. They have many different unique latte flavors – I got the lavender latte and there were little petals floating on the top! Continue reading “Flowerboy Project + OOTD”
If you follow me on Instagram (@courtneyyquinn), you may have noticed that I have been posting at the restaurant 26 Beach lately. It is a restaurant in Venice that I am obsessed with. My first time going there was only about a month ago, but I’ve been there so many times since!
So last week, I finally got to go home to Illinois for the first time in two years! It was a bit weird being back and visiting all the places I used to go to on a daily basis. My favorite part though, was spending time in the city. Continue reading “Sweet Home Chicago”
Today I had the day off from work and all that, so I convinced my brother and mom to go on one of my favorite LA based hikes with me. This one overlooks Santa Monica Bay and is off of Los Liones Drive in the Pacific Palisades. Continue reading “My Sunday Off | Los Liones Canyon Trail & Brunch at Topanga Table”
