Valentine’s Day is around the corner and I’ve thought of the perfect gift: A basket of goodies from your local food market. I could spend hours just looking at all the gourmet cheeses and wines and spices! I have a few favorite LA marketplace cafes, including Joan’s on Third. And let me tell you, this place is aesthetic AF.

Joan’s is in a prime location! Don’t be surprised if you see some big Hollywood names stopping in on their lunch break 🙂

If you decide to check this place out, I would definitely recommend their salads. They’re HUGE. I always get the chopped and usually have to take it home!

As for the market, I love picking out some fresh pasta, rosé and candy. Guilty!

Joan’s is always super packed, so I would recommend going on a weekday and avoiding lunch hour. They have a few communal tables inside, as well as sidewalk seating!
