So lately I’ve been experimenting with some of the different uses of coconut oil, and let me tell you, there are a lot of them. Coconut oil has a number of beauty and health benefits.
Coconut oil is a great moisturizer. Apply it all over your body and it will hydrate your dry skin! I suggest rubbing it in and letting it sit for five minutes before wiping off any excess oil. Not only does it act as a moisturizer, but is also said to reduce cellulite when applied to affected areas. Plus, it will make you smell good!
Coconut oil makes a great conditioner. Last week, I put some in my hair, placed a shower cap over my head and sat in the sun for an hour. When I washed it out in the shower, my hair felt super healthy and smooth afterwards!
If you are a popcorn lover like I am, then you will be happy to know that using coconut oil to pop organic corn kernels is the healthier way to make popcorn. And guess what? IT TASTES BETTER! Sprinkle some sea salt on top and you have the perfect late night snack.
There are a ton of ways you can put coconut oil to use. These are just a few that I’ve tried, and I can’t wait to get more creative with it!
